With a sharp rise in banking transactions in the country, the number of dissatisfied customers is also on the rise. The total number of complaints received under various ombudsman schemes against banks has risen by over 9 per cent during April 2021- March 2022.

A maximum number of complaints were related to debit cards and mobile or internet banking, according to a report released by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

As many as 41,375 complaints were regarding debit cards while 39,388 complaints were regarding electronic banking. Bank customers filed 32,162 complaints regarding credit cards.

Sony unveiled a new high-tech prototype car it will produce in partnership with Honda at the CES tech show on Jan 4.
